MertChem is the chemical production brand established by Mert Tekstil in 2018, a company that has been operating in the textile industry since 1979. Drawing on its experience from the mill and dyehouse, MertChem produces and supplies textile auxiliary chemicals for every stage of the process, from pre-weaving sizing to finished fabric: sizing, denim, pre-treatment, dyeing-printing, finishing and coating products.

Its own production MERTSIZE CMS is a completely water-soluble carboxymethyl starch size that allows desizing without using amylase enzyme. The OASIS process developed for denim shortens sizing and finishing steps, reducing total water consumption by 58% with SGS verification and completely eliminating caustic use.

Products are delivered with technical data sheets and safety data sheets, with recipes adapted to the customer's water, substrate and machine conditions. Free laboratory samples are sent upon request. MertChem products are OEKO-TEX certified and ZDHC Level 3 registered; GOTS certification is in progress, and the quality system conforms to ISO 9001.
